Our Scenic 25-acre Birding Ranch has great views of the famous Winter Sandhill Crane Migration (Sept~ April). Attend "Wings Over Willcox" Birding & Nature Festival the 2nd weekend in Jan every year. Birders from all over the world make the Sulphur Springs Valley their favorite vacation spot to witness this special event. Visit nearby Tombstone, Bisbee, Willcox, Benson, Douglas and New Mexico. Enjoy our spectacular dark starry nights and sunsets/sunrises are something else to behold. Spectacular and stunning 360-degree mountain and desert Views can be comfortably enjoyed from our 3 decks. All decks have seating and tables for your comfort. Hummingbird Ranch has everything that you are looking for in a "Vacation SE Arizona Getaway".  Goat cheese, soap, and lotions at another neighbor's house who is famous for her products.  Our Bortle 2 extra dark starry-night skies with billions of stars above will thrill you. We even added an 8' stargazing observatory that you can rent for your entire stay at the Ranch. The gorgeous sunsets and sunrises are extraordinary as well.

Or jump in the car and visit 6 Ghost Towns~ Pearce, Courtland, Gleeson, Tombstone, Fairbank, Paradise, Butterfield Stage Coach Ruins, 2 local caverns ~Kartchner Caverns & Colossal Cave, 16 award-winning local Wine Vineyards to enjoy close by Ranch. 3 National Parks~ The Cochise Stronghold National Forest, The Chiricahua National Monument, Fort Bowie National Park, Apache Pass. Visit and learn more about our tons of local western history, and 2 famous Apache Indian Chiefs Geronimo and Cochise and their tribes. See where the important Apache Wars took place. Visit Geronimo's Surrenders site, the graves of the Chiricahua Apaches. The Amerind Indian Museum on Dragoon Road, in the famous Texas Canyon, 25 minutes from Hummingbird Ranch. Tombstone, Bisbee, Douglas, Willcox and Benson are a short drive from Ranch.

Homemade goat cheese and goat soap from Udderly Natural Products, an easy 3 min walk from our Ranch. Hummingbird Ranch is ground zero for   Sandhill Cranes Winter Migration (Oct~ April). Birders and nature lovers adore our 25-acre Ranch. Birding & and nature watching at its best in SE Arizona for your well-deserved vacation.

Great photo ops are everywhere at Hummingbird Ranch and so much more. Or, just sitting on the deck with a cool drink in your hand and slowing down at a southwest pass, is refreshing too!  Amerind Indian  Museum 20 minutes away, is a great place to learn all about our famous Chiricahua Apaches with the famous chiefs Geronimo & Cochise.  Cochise County is know for dark night skies. Rent our 8'Stargazing Observatory with 2 bay and electric for your entire stay at Ranch. ($125 added fee/ bring your own equipment and gear to Ranch.)

Shawn makes homemade goat cheese and goat soap to enjoy. Always local happening's from wine festivals, rodeo's, history reenactment, Willcox Indy Races, or jump in the car and take a short drive to Tombstone, Bisbee, Douglas, Willcox ,Benson, Mexico and New Mexico.
